About Millennium FX
We create work for film, television, commercials, music promos, theatre and corporate projects.
Millennium FX’s Directors, Neill Gorton and Rob Mayor, are multi-award winning artists with numerous BAFTA and Royal Television Society awards across make-up and special effects categories.
Working with them are Company Director, Kate Walshe; Director of Make-Up Rebecca Butterworth; Projects Supervisor Sharna Rothwell; in-house Designer Chris Goodman; in-house Mouldshop Supervisor Olivia Whitaker; Projects Assistant Rachel Gatt; in-house Prosthetic Technicians Morgan Kimber, Magda Kulig and Ellis Moore with in-house Buyer Terri Hargreaves and Administration by Martina Skokova.
Together with the industry's best designers, artists and technicians, we have created work for countless productions from major studio features including Saving Private Ryan, The Wolfman, Gravity and Frankenstein, acclaimed television productions such as Doctor Who, The Catherine Tate Show and Critical, to iconic theatre like Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies and Sir Cameron Mackintosh's The Phantom of the Opera.
Our range of work has included prosthetic character make-ups, animatronic and creature effects work, speciality costumes and puppets, prosthetic medical and gore effects, consultation work, design and also industry training.
We also have a growing range of hire items – from hyper-realistic creature suits and life-like babies to specialty rigs and costumes and have made a range of our screen quality prosthetic make-ups available for sale through our sister company MFX Warehouse.
“I've had the pleasure of collaborating with Millennium FX on Bodies, Frankenstein, Critical and Lady Chatterley's Lover. Not only are they an extraordinarily creative team, they're also flexible, diligent and extremely well organised. MFX are the outstanding practitioners in their field.”
